This is a ritual we performed at Synergy's Bridfest
for their opening ritual on Feb 15, 2001. It was a controversial ritual because
it had a lot of humor in it and it was called a revival. In the Charge of the
Star Goddess, we are told: Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth;
for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. And therefore let
there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth
and reverence within you. Wicca is a religion of experience and of feeling.
Music, dance, chants, songs and yes, laughter are all ways that we can rejoice
and become revived in the spirit of joy. It was a reverent ritual, but a fun
ritual. I hope we can do it again.
This is going to be a complex page and will take a while to complete since I
